Sunday School for youth begins in September (September 13) and will be held before worship at 9:00 a.m.

The beginning of Sunday School also marks the start of Children's Church, which allows kids pre-school through 2nd grade to leave the worship service after the children's moment for a service that is age-appropriate for them.

Sunday School (9:00 am)

Our fall Discovery Groupsfor 2009 registration process is beginning. You can find out more about the groups before and after worship on Sundays through September. Group leaders will be available during these times to answer your questions. Signup can be done in person before and after worship or by downloading the

small group brochure

and fill out and submit the registration form. You can also go to the

Small Group Signup page

on the website to register online.

Parenting

A monthly parenting class, focusing on supporting each other while discussing developmental stages of children, is led by Joel and Sandie Ringdahl from 9:00 a.m. – 9:45a.m. Meetings are scheduled the last Sunday of each month. Families are encouraged to participate in the potluck following worship.

Parents of children aged 0 – 8 are invited.

Book Club

The book club will meet once a month to discuss books of the participants’ choices.

  • November: The Mermaid Chair by Sue Monk Kidd

  • March: When the Emperor was Divine by Julie Atsuka
  • April: At Home in Mitford by Jan Karon at Beth Smiths house
  • June: Digging to America by Anne Tyler
  • July: A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
  • August: Starbucked: A Double Tall Tale of Caffeine, Commerce, and Culture by Taylor Clark

 Oaknoll

A group meets biweekly at Oaknoll retirement community. Members reflect on their lives and talk about current issues. For more information, please call the church office, 337-4181.

Women's Nite Out

Meets at 6:00 pm on the third Thursday of each month.
